St. Joseph Family Support Organization Scholarship announcement
for the academic year of 2023-2024
In an effort to support outstanding local students pursuing higher education, St. Joseph Family Support announces the annual scholarship of $1000 for the academic year 2023-2024. This Scholarship is open to all high school senior students in south- east Michigan regardless of race, religion, or gender.
Selection Process
The selection committee chosen by St. Joseph will carefully review scholarship applications submitted by students based on the criteria listed below. The scholarship will be awarded to successful recipients at the start of the 2023-2024 academic year, with proof of full time enrollment in a 4 year college program.
The scholarship is based on merit, although financial need may be considered as educational assistance gift. The Scholarship shall be administered by the St. Joseph Family Support Organization according to their rules and guidelines.Special emphasis will placed on the school GPA and the standardized test score
Scholarship Requirements
Only students who are currently in their senior year of high school are eligible to apply. Applicants must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.75 out of 4.0.
The application must be completed in full and received no later than 5/31/2024. Full application with supported documents can be submitted through the form below or emailed to Scholarship@stjosephfs.org
Any applications delivered after the due date (5/31/2024) will be considered disqualified.
Documents to submit with the application:

- Original school transcript.
- Copy of your standardized testing (ACT/SAT) score.
- THREE recommendation letters from school teachers or work managers (Letters of recommendations must be sent directly from the teacher’s school email or manager’s work email to Scholarship@stjosephfs.org).
